Not just “BPA-free”. Nunch is made without BPA, phthalates, PVC, melamine, PFAS or lead, and tested in independent labs for food-contact safety.
Grade 304 (18/8) is the gold standard for food contact materials. It contains 18% chromium and 8% nickel, creating an exceptionally stable oxide layer that is inert to food acids, alkaline detergents, and high temperatures.
The same alloy is used in commercial kitchen equipment, quality cookware and brewery tanks. It resists corrosion and staining, and doesn't leach compounds into food under normal use.
Many "non-toxic" products still use PTFE coatings, painted interiors, or surface treatments that can flake over time. Nunch uses zero surface treatments. What you see is raw, polished steel — nothing added, nothing to degrade.
Dishwasher safe on any cycle. Drop-proof: stainless steel dents before it cracks, and a dent doesn't compromise safety.
Nunch vs alternatives
* Stainless steel is not microwave-safe. Warm food on the hob or in the oven, or transfer from a microwave-safe container. For most families this becomes an invisible habit within a week.

Sheet selection
We source only 304-grade cold-rolled steel sheet, and each batch is tested before production begins.
Deep drawing
Plates and bowls are formed via deep drawing — a single-press process that creates seamless, joint-free forms with no weld points where bacteria could accumulate.
Mirror polishing
Each piece is hand-polished to a food-safe mirror finish. The result is a smooth, non-porous surface that's easy to keep clean, with no chemical treatment.
Quality inspection
Every piece is inspected individually before packing. Weight checked, edges tested, surface examined. Pieces that don't pass are melted down and reused.
