Is Nunch Right for My Child?
Everything a new eater needs: a plate (Ø18cm), a bowl (450ml), an open cup (150ml), a fork and a spoon.
From 6 months, when most babies start solids, through the toddler years and beyond. The pieces are sized for small hands and built to last well past the early stages, so younger siblings can use them too.
All four finishes are the same food-grade 18/8 stainless steel. Only the look is different.
Luna: classic plain steel. Timeless, and it matches any table.
Sol: warm gold. Our most giftable finish.
Nova: deep blue. Calm and bold at the same time.
Rainbow: multi-coloured and shimmering. A favourite with little ones.
Sol, Nova and Rainbow get their colour from PVD, which bonds the colour into the steel surface, so it won’t peel or chip.

Open cups help children learn to drink the way they will for life. Many paediatric feeding specialists recommend introducing an open cup early. Expect some spills at first. Our 150ml cup is small enough for little hands to hold with two hands while they practise.
No. Stainless steel won’t shatter, crack or splinter. A hard throw onto tiles can leave a small dent, but the piece stays completely safe to use.
Yes. The Daily Set makes a thoughtful gift for a baby shower, a first birthday, or a family starting solids. Check the gift options on Amazon at checkout.
Yes. We’re growing the range based on what parents tell us they need.
Safety & Materials
Yes. Food-grade stainless steel is non-reactive. It doesn’t contain BPA, phthalates or plastic, and it has no coating that can wear off into food. That’s why it’s used throughout commercial kitchens and food preparation.
It’s safer, longer-lasting and better for the planet. Plastic can scratch, stain and break down with heat and age. Stainless steel doesn’t. One set can last for years and can be recycled at the end of its life.
Food-grade 304 (18/8) stainless steel, the global standard for cookware and cutlery, known for durability and corrosion resistance.
PVD (physical vapour deposition) is how we add colour, and it’s food-safe. Instead of painting or coating the steel, PVD bonds a thin, hard layer into its surface. The same process is used on premium cutlery, watches and tapware. It won’t peel, flake or chip like paint.
Designed in Sydney, made in India. Every product is tested in independent labs to meet food-contact safety standards before it reaches your home.
Everyday Use & Care
Yes. For the longest life, use a gentle cycle and mild detergent.
No. Metal can’t go in the microwave. Warm food in a pot or a microwave-safe dish, then serve it in Nunch.
Steel takes on the temperature of the food in it. Serve food at eating temperature, as you would for any little one, and the plate will be comfortable to touch.
Light surface marks can appear with everyday use. They’re normal and don’t affect safety. Stainless steel stays non-porous and food-safe, scratches and all.
No. 18/8 stainless steel is made to resist rust. Very occasionally, minerals in tap water leave small spots that look like rust. Buff them off with a little baking soda on a soft, damp sponge.
Wash in warm, soapy water or the dishwasher, then dry with a soft cloth. Avoid bleach, steel wool and long soaks (over an hour), and don’t leave acidic food sitting overnight. Buff away water spots with a dry cloth.
Years. With normal care, one set lasts through every stage of childhood, and many families pass theirs on to younger siblings.
